Claudia's work has always been characterised by a love of vivid colours, elaborate patterns and playful spatial proportions. influences such as geometric optical art, vintage interior décor and disco aesthetic of the 1970’s seem to be the visual cocktail she is always mixing. Colour completely defines her agenda, then patterns slice and spice the pictorial spaces opening opportunities for colour to find its moment of resonance, a cha-cha of sorts. Claudia graduated with a master of arts from the college of Fine Arts, UNSW in Sydney. She has been a recipient of the Paris studio residency at the Cite Des Arts Internationale from the art gallery of New South Wales, the Arthur Boyd Bundanon residency and the gunnery studios residency. Her work is held in significant public and private collections in Australia including Art Bank, Gold Coast city gallery and the University of Sydney collection. She has exhibited across Australia in several institutional shows as well as regular exhibitions in prominent commercial galleries. Claudia has had her work reviewed and featured in publications such as Time Out London, Australian Art Collector, Art Monthly Australia, Sydney Morning Herald and Vogue Living Australia.
