About Tomas Lineker

Tomas Lineker’s painting practice inhabits a weird and wonderful space where the unexpected feels instinctively at home. His imagery embraces displacement and distortion, drawing on childhood whimsy, spontaneity and wit. Through eccentric colour palettes and curious characters, Lineker creates works that balance humour with a quiet, timeless sophistication. Influenced by Australian modernist Peter Graham’s iconic colour-blocking techniques, Lineker uses paint to explore the shifting boundary between the empirical world and internal imagination.
