Larissa Blake

Larissa Blake is a visual artist, whose industrial studio is based in the idyllic garden surrounds of rural Orange, N.S.W. As a painter and colourist, her work is inspired by vivid moments of the everyday. Reinterpreting traditional genres in a contemporary context, Larissa’s figurative and expressive abstraction is imbued with a sense of place and memory. She is interested in the utility of art in uplifting the psyche through joyful and exuberant colour palette and subject matter.
